BRANDING
Logos & Corporate Design
I've had the pleasure of working with a number of organizations in their early stages, whose corporate identity and branding I've been able to help shape.
WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Craft Music
For this Los Angeles-based, family-owned music education enterprise, I crafted and introduced an innovative digital solution to streamline the process of discovering the perfect instructor for your preferred instrument. Utilizing Nuxt and Netlify CMS, I meticulously redesigned and constructed the website from the ground up. Visit: craftmusicla.com
WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Gåsebäck Film Festival
This new independent film event in Helsingborg, Sweden, is dedicated to bringing a collection of some of the best international cinema to the small city, celebrating emerging creators and vibrant storytelling for the city’s diverse audiences. I designed the website and built it using Nuxt.js and GSAP. Visit: gasebackfilmfestival.com
WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Sunflower Therapy
Seasoned therapist Rita McGaw needed a website for her new teletherapy venture in Kansas City. This simple and inviting landing page was designed and built in two days. Visit: sunflowertherapy.net
BRANDING, VIDEOGRAPHY & WEB DEVELOPMENT
One Tree, One Life
Over the years, I have had the privilege to help the Swiss branch of the Borneo Orangutan Survival organization with their marketing and fundraising efforts. One particularly special project was "One Tree, One Life," which followed a group of volunteers on their journey to Borneo to plant trees and visit the Orangutan refuges there. For this campaign site, I created the logo and branding elements, design and built the website (using Jekyll), as well as shot, edited and scored an introductory video for the project. MOBILE APP DESIGN, MARKETING & WEB DEVELOPMENT
Collecture
As the lead designer for Collecture, a cutting-edge mobile lecture-capture app, I developed a tranquil and user-friendly brand identity, revamped the app's UX/UI, and created a sleek landing page with animated SVG illustrations. The Collecture logo, inspired by the Zen "Enso," was simplified into five concentric rings resembling the letter "C" and suggesting a circular swiping motion. I restructured the app's UI for quick recording initiation, ensuring smooth functionality for busy teachers and professors. Through extensive testing with beta users, I refined the high-fidelity prototype for an intuitive experience. My expertise in branding, UX/UI design, prototyping, and front-end development contributed significantly to Collecture's success.
PRODUCT DESIGN & FRONT-END DEVELOPMENT
Voice Republic
As the Head of Product Design for Voice Republic, a spoken content platform based in Zurich and Berlin, I led a comprehensive UX/UI overhaul to address inconsistencies and ensure seamless integration of new features. My responsibilities included UX/UI design, design system development, UI prototyping, front-end development, business analysis, and design workshops. I transformed the platform's centerpiece, the talk browser, by creating a cleaner look and clearer visual hierarchy, while also developing a responsive talk page design with sticky audio player controls. My work significantly improved the user experience, reflecting the platform's transition to a more traditional live broadcast model.
UI DESIGN, 3D MODELING & ANIMATION
White Risk
For two years, I was instrumental in creating White Risk, an award-winning online educational platform focused on avalanche safety and prevention. My responsibilities included UX/UI design, design system development, 3D modeling and animation, data visualization, and CSS support for developers. I crafted a captivating visual experience with infographics, visual tools, and 3D illustrations, while ensuring an engaging and intuitive user interface. The platform's innovative data visualizations and appealing aesthetics made complex concepts more accessible and memorable, catering to users ranging from beginners to advanced mountaineers. The Horizon Interactive Gold Award stands as testament to White Risk's success in promoting avalanche safety and prevention. Visit: whiterisk.ch
